Any operation, even minor, affects the tissue. Surgery completely rearranges the tissue and therefore requires specific aftercare to speed up recovery, improve patient comfort in the days following the operation, and maximise the aesthetic result.

“Osteopathy involves finding the cause, removing the obstruction and leaving nature to do the rest, with arterial blood serving as the doctor,” said Andrew Taylor Still, the founder of osteopathy. My method involves working outwards, from the deep layers to the superficial. I start by treating any mechanical blockages, thus releasing the arterial flow. I then restore the existing organic and metabolic connections, as well as those between the body’s structure and organs. Finally, I focus on the more superficial areas and the skin.

Surgical operations, regardless of the procedure or the treatment area, disrupt the human body’s physiological processes. As an osteopath specialising in therapeutic and aesthetic post-operative care, I develop treatment protocols and personalised treatment plans for patients who have undergone surgery.

I use my hands to assess the quality of the tissue. I use very gentle manual techniques, taking into account the anatomical changes caused by the operation and respecting the surgeon’s fixtures.

These techniques, which work on the fasciae and the sliding tissue planes, allow us to restore the functional anatomy, recover the tissues’ elasticity, and reset the internal balance and its impact on the aesthetic appearance.

What is unusual about my care is that I associate mechanical and manual actions with the latest-generation devices, particularly radiofrequency, to biostimulate the cells, which helps the tissues to become healthy again.

Using sub-thermal radiofrequency right after surgery allows us to treat the acute inflammatory processes and drain the area, unlike classic/thermal radiofrequency.

We would only use thermal radiofrequency for long-term after-care.
This protocol is rounded out with more global recommendations provided by holistic osteopathy, such as dietary advice and micronutrition to strengthen the body’s defences.

My treatments are effective for all types of surgery, skin and treatment area, on the face or body.
They are particularly helpful when used immediately after surgery, to treat acute inflammation or swelling and to drain any bruising in order to improve comfort and reduce any pain or stiffness caused by the surgery.

This specific care optimises the aesthetic healing of the scar and speeds up the recovery process.
Of course, my techniques are also effective when used for long- term aftercare, on old scars and their adhesions.

The SKINCARE AGENCY is a pioneering centre that offers essential post-operative care, with a comprehensive and effective range of treatments. Stringency is at the heart of the project, from the services and quality of the treatments to the individual support. Won over by the centre’s belief in the importance of my speciality, I decided to join their venture.
