Luxury and motor racing
Monaco plays hosts to several motor races: the famous Monte Carlo Rally, the Formula 1 Grand Prix and, next May, the 11th Historic Monaco Grand Prix. Plenty of fodder for racing enthusiasts, who can even reserve the Fairmont’s Ayrton Senna suite, which is decorated with signed photos, souvenirs of his six victories, his famous Brazilian helmet, and a picture of the late driver at the wheel of his Formula 1 car. Inaugurated by Bianca Senna and HRH Prince Albert last May, it boasts sensational views of the legendary Fairmont Hairpin.
But the Fairmont also has other assets: a casino, 4 restaurants (including a Nobu), 604 rooms, 18 conference rooms, a shopping arcade, a hair salon and a Nikki Beach, with a terrace and swimming pool on the top oor offering plunging views of the sea. Its Fairmont Spa was voted “Europe’s Best Hotel Spa” and “Monaco’s Leading Resort Spa 2016” at the World Travel Awards.
Located on the 7th oor, this 900m2 spa has 8 private rooms (including a couples’ suite) and a steam room. It leads directly to the hotel’s tness centre. Try the “Pearls and Caviar Ultimate Anti-Aging Rejuvenation” for full body and mind rejuvenation: a full body polish using gentle pearl beads, followed by a bamboo and ginger massage to invigorate the senses and relax the muscles, rounded off with a Caviar Anti-Aging Facial for a youthful and radiant glow.
