We have now stepped fully into the era of autologous cell regeneration and today patients are taking an interest in collagen and elastin-stimulating treatments
Results based on the body’s rhythm
The current demands mainly involve treatments that biostimulate collagen and regenerate the cells. In order to respond to these demands in an effective way, aesthetics doctors put together combinations of techniques according to the patient’s age, ethnicity and genetics.

In the first appointment, I always explain that skin quality issues and skin aging issues are two different things, despite being connected. Whether we are dealing with established signs of aging in more mature patients or focusing on preventative measures for younger patients, over the course of the sessions issues such as rosacea, fine lines and enlarged pores are all improved and the skin becomes smoother and plumper. Another good thing about these techniques is that they require no downtime and the results become visible gradually, over several months, making them more discreet and the facial features and authenticity of the expressions are preserved.
Rejuvenating from the inside by stimulating your own biological capabilities
We focus on achieving a lifting and densifying effect and recovering the skin’s elasticity. To achieve these results, I perform the Ultherapy PRIME® protocol followed by biostimulating injections a month later, to work on various planes of the face.
The new Ultherapy PRIME® platform, with its advanced technology, offers superb advantages such as its fast mode of action with increased ultrasound emission energy. The factor that makes all the difference and which is a real bonus in my practice, is the integrated ultrasound scanner, which allows me to visualise the different layers of tissue up to 8mm deep. By targeting the SMAS, the interface that connects the skin with the platysma muscle, we can trigger the natural neocollagenesis process and therefore achieve a natural lifting effect.
A precise, adaptable and adjustable treatment

For young women aged 35 to 40 who want to improve their skin quality, this procedure pre-empts skin sagging while beautifying the skin, making it smoother, firmer and tighter. It is possible to slim down the lower part of the face by targeting the fat in the jowls and the submental region. I use a transducer that sends the HIFU to 4.5mm underneath the skin and use the ultrasound images to accurately target all of the deep areas, which enables me to carry out an ultra-personalised treatment. By heating up the tissues in a targeted way, the ultrasounds are transformed into thermo-coagulation points and stimulate the creation of a new network of collagen, therefore helping to tighten up the tissues. The patients notice (and feel) a lifting effect fairly quickly, with progressive results that settle after 4 to 6 months and last between 12 and 18 months.
From the peri-menopause and the significant collagen loss that accompanies it, I recommend combining it with Radiesse®, a biostimulator containing calcium hydroxyapatite, to potentiate and boost the action of the HIFU by stimulating the production of new collagen in the hypodermal region. This treatment is carried out 1 to 2 months after Ultherapy PRIME®. It involves injecting Radiesse® (diluted 1:1) with a cannula, using the nappage technique.
I see my patients for a check-up after 4 months and, if required, I then perform a second biostimulating treatment.
Treating the eye contour, oval and neck in one session
The most frequent demand is to treat the oval and the area around the eyes. Patients of all ages like the idea of smoothing and rejuvenating their expression. The eye contour includes the lower eyelid and the top of the cheekbone, as well as lifting the tail of the eyebrow, which opens up and awakens the eye area. This “botulinum toxin-like” effect lasts at least a year; the lower eyelid is smoothed for a natural tightening effect, without any injections or surgery.
With regard to the lower face, as a general rule, I perform a first pass sending the HIFU to a depth of 3mm or 4.5mm (depending on the skin’s thickness and the position of the SMAS) and a second pass to 1.5mm, into the dermis, where new collagen is produced. These two skin layers are where we produce collagen, which gives a tightening effect to the SMAS and densifies the skin texture. The neck is often neglected, which is why I offer an “expression, oval, neck” protocol in one session. This ultra-high-performance technology allows me to work in a very precise way and offer visible and natural-looking results that satisfy my patients’ requests.
