Resplendent Ceylon is a venture set up by the founders of Dilmah Tea to create and manage a collection luxury resorts across Sri Lanka. Ceylon Tea Trails was the first resort in the Resplendent Ceylon portfolio, comprising a collection of decadent bungalows built between 1890 and 1939. 
With a focus on immersing guests in Dilmah Tea’s famous Dunkeld tea plantation, the hotel is unique in its location within the working tea estate and allows guests to follow a trail from bungalow to bungalow throughout the estate. Tea Trails introduced an entirely new level of luxury to Sri Lanka, and became the first Relais & Chateaux resort in the country.
