Fillers containing hyaluronic acid, the gold standard for cor- recting wrinkles and restoring volume, have made a major advance in NEAUVIA ORGANIC with use of a second polymer known for its safety and versatility: PEG. The new reticulat- ing agent known as PEG (Polyethylene glycol), an essential element of the hydrogel production process, combines hya- luronic acid molecules with greater interpenetration.
The chemical union of these two polymers permits creation of scaffold-structured polymeric matrices, i.e. three-dimensional layers with a large interpenetrated mesh, which allow the gel to better integrate into tissues and to include and gradually release molecules such as L-Proline and Glycine, essential amino acids for the production of neocollagen (NEAUVIA RHEOLOGY), or calcium hydroxyapatite for biostimulation of collagen production (NEAUVIA STIMULATE). The speci c rheology of the hydrogel obtained through PEGylation (which can cross-link HA obtained from the fermentation of a strain of Bacillus Subtilis, a non-pathogenic bacterium belonging to the class of probiotics) allows the implanted product to last longer while preserving the gel’s high plasticity and cohesivity. NEAUVIA ORGANIC second generation llers are thus more cohesive and visco-elastic, easily injectable and mouldable, to respond to three key requirements: natural correction, safe materials, respect for the physiology of the tissues, and truly youthful skin.
