Treat yourself to a wellness break in Normandy this winter!
In addition to its proximity to the French capital, Normandy boasts a wealth of options for a relaxing wellness break. We’ve discovered three very different places, which all promise to relieve guests from the stresses and strains of everyday life.
This new “country hotel” complex is located in the Pays de Caux, just 25 minutes from Rouen. “Clos masures” are the region’s characteristic 12th century farms, whose buildings are often built in a square layout, around a courtyard planted with apple trees. It is a closed-off, protected area, but very spacious.
The current owners have renovated the old farm buildings to create airy and refined accommodation. The bedrooms are all independent and equipped with a kitchenette, meaning that guests can satisfy their hunger at any time of the day or night.
“Le Clos Masure” won us over with its Anglo-Saxon comfort, trendy yet cosy interior design, large outdoor swimming pool, and boutique, which sells on-trend deco items in the heart of the estate.
Added extra: Massages are available by appointment, performed by a therapist trained in Chinese medicine.
