A chat with Fleur Phelipeau, founder of D-LAB NUTRICOSMETICS
L’Oréal, HEC… At the tender age of 25, multi award-winning entrepreneur Fleur Phelipeau created the start-up that became known for breaking the codes of nutritional supplements, a company that is now a leader in the professional beauty world. In France, more than 500 establishments have partnered up with her, including: Sofitel Quiberon, Majestic Cannes, Intercontinental, Clinique Vendôme, Clinique Opéra, Medi-Spark Barri.re.
“Our starting point was the Célestins medical spa in Vichy, where I grew up, a pioneer in terms of integrative medicine which, for the last ten years, has blended health and beauty. With the idea that everything in the body is connected, we flipped the codes of nutritional supplementation on their head and worked to make sure every formula provided long-lasting solutions, tackling both the problem and its causes. Together, we identified the 9 fields of action for which nutritional supplements are really useful – much more so than topical treatments – and placed them at the heart of our expertise.”
