Revitacare is a French laboratory founded in 2003, with the conviction that “beauty starts with skin quality”. (Re)discover Revitacare’s distinctive features and products, with answers from CEO Jim Buzon.
ANTI-AGE Magazine: What is Revitacare’s DNA?
Jim Buzon: Revitacare is a pioneer in aesthetic and anti-aging medicine. Our laboratory put the first injectable medical device for aesthetic purposes, containing hyaluronic acid and vitamins, on the European market. Revitacare was founded with the vision that beauty starts with skin quality, and this is the motto that drives us and motivates all our developments. One of our distinctive features is that we manufacture complex products containing hyaluronic acid – both cross-linked and non-cross-linked – combined with a number of other specific ingredients, such as vitamins, amino acids and minerals. Our most complex product, Cytocare 532, is made up of hyaluronic acid and 50 other ingredients. One of our strong points is our significant investment in Research & Development, which enables us to offer extremely effective formulas that can be adapted to as many people as possible. Since 2023, Revitacare has offered a purely cosmetic range – the Cytocare Paris range – which was born from our expertise and can be used at home, either before or after treatments.
AAM: You have a range of sterile cosmetics for topical application. How does the Cellucare C Line tackle orange-peel skin, for example?
J.B.: Its formula is made up of hyaluronic acid and a specific complex of nutrients (caffeine, manganese and zinc gluconates) and is designed to focus on the skin’s fat and make it detach from the skin’s structure. The caffeine it contains helps to reduce the orange-peel effect. This simple and effective treatment is part of the C Line range, for topical application, which addresses several specific skin issues. It is applied with a massage or using applicator devices such as the C Line Touch (electroporation) or C Line Plasma (plasmaporation), which help the product to penetrate into the skin more quickly. The Cellucare C Line can also be combined with products such as the Stretchcare C Line, which was developed to boost the skin’s firmness and recover its elasticity.
AAM: What other products has Revitacare developed?
J.B.: Revitacare has always been interested in niche markets and targets products suitable for specific issues, with the aim of slowing down the effects of aging. In our formulas containing non-cross-linked hyaluronic acid, we have the Stretchcare C Line which is designed for skin that needs to recover its elasticity and redefine its contours. Of course, there is also the Cytocare 5xx range of injectable medical devices, designed for dehydrated skin that lacks radiance and to fill fine lines and wrinkles. One of our flagship products is the Cytocare S Line, which comes primed in a 3ml syringe and achieves remarkable results on filling, skin texture and radiance. Applied topically, the Cytocare 715 C Line, a non-cross-linked viscous product, plumps the skin and significantly improves its radiance, and finally the Cytocare 640 C Line promotes deep hydration. We also have two ranges of filler, this time containing cross-linked hyaluronic acid, which target wrinkle filling, with specific formulas to satisfy doctors and their patients. Based on these mesotherapy and filler products, our range was recently extended with the Cytocare Paris range, an at-home product range. Finally, we offer hair and scalp treatments with Haircare, an injectable medical device also containing non-cross-linked hyaluronic acid and vitamins, amino acids and other minerals, namely zinc. The treatments involve micro-injections into the scalp to redensify it, anchor the root of the hairs and reduce hair loss.
