The basis of RRS® HA Long Lasting is a cross-linked hyaluronic acid (21 mg/3ml) of non-animal origin with a very high molecular weight, stabilised by a protective buffer composed of amino acids with antioxidant properties. Amino acids are effective in stabilising the hyaluronic acid, improving the process of implantation, and reducing the manifestations of adverse reactions associated to osmotic stress.
RRS® HA Long Lasting is manufactured using an exclusive UnHeating technological process (UHI), limiting potentially damaging high temperatures during the BDDE crosslinking process, which creates a new standard of highly stable hydrogels that are resistant to degradation and stress, while maintaining a specific molecular weight and length, ensuring optimal rheology.
