Lifting, contouring and rejuvenating. Aptos offers a range of non-invasive threads that can lift, reshape and rejuvenate the face and body. These methods were invented in 1996 by Georgian plastic surgeon Marlen Sulamanidze and have been developed by Dr. George and Constantin Sulamanidze. The tensor threads are equipped with specially-designed barbs, which lift and revitalise the skin.
Once inserted into the subdermal tissue, the barbs lift the skin, leading to fibrosis and stimulating the production of new collagen, which provides support for the soft tissues by lifting them and holding them in an upright position. As a result, an improved facial contour is visible immediately after the procedure.
