The goal today is to truly personalize the facial rejuvenation process. Women want to recover with a fresh and harmonious face, but they also want to retain their own identity, steering clear of medical and surgical stereotypes. This is the reason why combined acts, medical or surgical ones, are increasingly used in cervicofacial lifts (CFL).

Combined surgical procedures

  • Liposuction

Neck liposuction is commonly combined with a cervicofacial lift to eliminate fatty tissues. It allows us to correct the double chin and makes the facelift easier.

Sometimes it is used for the cheeks to create dimples.

  • Lipofilling

Lipofilling is a well codified technique that consists of the re-injection of autologous fat collected from the abdominal area or from the lower limbs to recreate volume loss in face aging. With time, a loss of volume and subsidence of soft tissues result in a tired and sunken look.

It is used on the temples, cheekbones and sometimes to plump up lips that have become too thin. Fat can be injected into the tear trough to soften dark circles.

  • Blepharoplasty or eyelid surgery

A combination of three of the four cases for a cervicofacial lift.

This technique is so broad and on a per case basis that it deserves its own article. Rejuvenating the eye area is essential to global face rejuvenation.

  • Nose tip rhinoplasty

Over time, the skin and underlying tissues thicken. It is possible to indirectly rectify this thickening of the nose tip by removing parts of the alar cartilage to give a younger and more delicate appearance to the nose.

Combined aesthetic medicine procedures

There are still a lot of aesthetic professionals who make a distinction between practices; purely medical or purely surgical. We now know that in order to optimise results, we must combine medical and surgical techniques to get the most natural results possible.

Injections

  • Botulinum toxin

Depending on their request, this procedure allows the patient to reduce and/or erase face wrinkles due to the skin muscles’ contraction.

It is effective on the forehead, the crow’s feet wrinkles and the glabella lines. The injections should be repeated every six months.

Thanks to the simple and efficient process, the need for brow lift surgery, which has heavy and unnatural post-operative results, is significantly reduced.

  • Hyaluronic acid

If no fat is injected during the cervicofacial lift, there is still an opportunity to recreate volume in the temples and cheekbones using hyaluronic acid. The most efficient result is visible in the the nasolabial fold. The results will last for one to two years depending on the acid chosen.

  • Dental aesthetics

Improving the aesthetics of your teeth is part of face rejuvenation. Some dentists now specialise in this field, producing both natural and spectacular results.

For an efficient and natural face rejuvenation, small touches are necessary, using a wide range of scientific possibilities.
