Dr Jean-Marc Adda
Today, aesthetic medicine is no longer about transforming faces; it’s about enhancing them. Patients want to recognise themselves in the mirror, regain freshness and radiance without artifice, and correct the effects of time while preserving their identity.
For Dr. Jean-Marc Adda, the goal is clear: restore facial balance while improving skin quality. His method is based on a global approach combining the restoration of deep volumes with skin regeneration — a strategy summed up in two words: “Reshape & Regenerate”.

ANTI-AGE & LONGEVITY MAGAZINE: Have you noticed any changes in aesthetic trends and patient expectations in recent years?
DOCTEUR JEAN-MARC ADDA: Absolutely. Aesthetic medicine has become much more accessible. Patients who were once hesitant are now more willing to seek treatment, as results have become far more natural. Today’s demand is very different from what it was ten years ago. It’s no longer about transformation, but about harmonisation. Patients want a “healthy glow,” luminous skin, and a rested appearance. They want to regain the volumes they once had, not change their face. There is also a growing awareness around prevention. Increasingly, patients are interested in treatments that improve skin quality and slow aging, rather than waiting until imperfections are pronounced before consulting.
AA&LM: How do you conduct your consultations to assess your patients’ needs?
DR. JM. A.: Consultations are moments of listening and analysis. I often ask patients to bring old photographs to understand how their facial volumes were distributed before aging. In front of the mirror, we identify together the areas that have lost support. These are the zones that will be treated to restore facial structure. I then systematically assess skin quality: texture, hydration, and elasticity. In most cases, there is both a loss of volume and a change in skin quality. That’s why I take a comprehensive approach: restoring support while improving the skin.
AA&LM: Which products do you use, and for which indications?
DR. JM. A.: In my practice, I use the range developed by Laboratoires VIVACY, which offers complementary solutions for a global approach. To restore volumes and redefine contours, I use STYLAGE® XXL, a product particularly suited to the structural areas of the face, such as the cheekbones, temples, and jawline. It recreates support where tissues have sagged over time, giving a firmer and more toned appearance. The face appears structured, yet perfectly natural exactly what patients are seeking today. In addition, I incorporate STYLAGE® Hydromax, which focuses more on skin quality. It deeply hydrates, improves elasticity, and enhances radiance. It can be injected across the entire face, both as a preventive measure and to correct existing dryness.
AA&LM: Why has skin quality become a central concern?
DR. JM. A.: Because a beautiful face does not rely solely on volumes. Even with well-defined structure, dull or dehydrated skin immediately reveals the signs of aging. Today, patients want luminous, supple, and even skin. Skin quality has become as important as facial contours. This is where regenerative treatments like STYLAGE® Hydromax play a key role, acting deeply to restore hydration and improve texture.
AA&LM: Why combine STYLAGE® XXL and STYLAGE® Hydromax?
Because one cannot work without the other. Restoring volume without improving the skin would be incomplete. Conversely, working only on skin quality without supporting structure limits the overall impact. The combination allows us to address both the architecture of the face and its surface. The result is subtle yet noticeable: a fresher, more radiant, more balanced face without any artificial effect. Through this two-step approach — restore, then regenerate — Dr. Jean-Marc Adda perfectly illustrates the evolution of modern aesthetic medicine: more preventive, more personalised, more natural.
Thanks to the synergy between volume restoration and skin quality enhancement, it is now possible to rejuvenate a face while respecting its identity. Precision aesthetic medicine, serving a simple goal: to reveal the best version of oneself in a subtle way.
