From 28 to 30 January 2027, the Palais des Congrès in Paris will host the next edition of IMCAS World, the global meeting point for dermatology, plastic surgery, and aging science. This year, the congress places longevity, artificial intelligence, and regenerative medicine at the centre of its programme, a thread that runs through every level, from plenary sessions to hands-on workshops.
Regenerative medicine takes a prominent role, with dedicated content on lipofilling, exosomes, and the latest advances in this fast-evolving field. GLP-1, a molecule reshaping systemic medicine, will also be addressed in depth, reflecting the congress’s commitment to tracking the broader biological shifts now influencing aesthetic practice. Longevity is explored from multiple angles, including an unprecedented focus on menopause, a subject long underrepresented in aesthetic medicine. Skin health is examined in all its complexity: environment, nutrition, inflammaging, and the relationship between skin and the brain each receive dedicated attention, pointing to an increasingly holistic and systemic approach to care.

Artificial intelligence features prominently throughout the programme, moving well beyond theory to address its practical integration into everyday clinical practice, from consultation to the operating room. On the diagnostic side, precision tools take centre stage, with dedicated content on cutaneous ultrasonography, dermoscopy, and trichoscopy underscoring the growing importance of diagnostic accuracy in aesthetic medicine. Hair is one of the strongest thematic blocks of the edition, spanning restoration, medical treatments, and surgery. The NextGen Awards will once again spotlight the next generation of dermatologists, with a jury recognising the best submitted work, a longstanding IMCAS tradition that reflects the congress’s investment in scientific excellence.
Ahead of the main programme, the INJECT precourse offers a full day of practical training combining injectables and ultrasound-guided techniques, with live demonstrations and hands-on rotations.
