COSMOPROF WORLDWIDE BOLOGNA PRESENTS THE 2016 EDITION

The 49th edition of Cosmoprof Worldwide Bologna, the leading international observatory on beauty trends scheduled in Bologna from the 18th to the 21st March 2016, in conjunction with Cosmopack (17-20 March 2016) promises to be full of initiatives. Organized by BolognaFiere in cooperation with Cosmetica Italia, the event will be supported by ITA – Italian Trade Agency – and the Ministry for Economic Development, a prestigious endorsement for a  trade fair format of excellence for the cosmetics industry worldwide.cosmoprof-2016

The internationalization remains a must for Cosmoprof Worldwide Bologna 2016, recognized as the benchmark by cosmetic companies to access both the established markets of the sector and its emerging realities.

The International Buyer Program, an established tool of Cosmoprof Worldwide network, will facilitate the planning of B2B meetings between exhibitors and the production companies from new countries, and new National Pavilions will be involved in the event. Among the novelties of 2016, South Africa, Australia, India, Morocco and Indonesia, in addition to the important return of Bulgaria and Romania.

INITIATIVES OF THE 2016 EDITION

Among the novelties of 2016, Cosmoprof Wellness, an area dedicated to wellness and spa industry trends, which are a growing segment in the beauty industry. In collaboration with the magazine Wellness Design, a spa path, Fire&Ice, will be set up, allowing companies to expose the most innovative products and treatments. Cosmoprof Wellness will host the conference space Spa Symposium, with the participation of highly qualified speakers. The business network will be facilitated thanks to the Spa Matching Program, which will allow the contact between specialized buyers in the world of spa and wellness centres and professionals of the hotel industry.

For the first time at Cosmoprof Worldwide Bologna, an exhibition area – inside the pavilion dedicated to natural cosmetics – will be devoted to national and international companies producing or distributing certified HALAL (“lawful” in Arabic) products, thanks to the project “Halal Cosmetics: from production to sales”, produced in partnership and with the supervision of the Italian halal certification body WHAD (World Halal Development).

Many initiatives for the Hair sector, as well. Among the most awaited events there is definitely the seventh edition of On Hair, the unique and inimitable “fashion” format, where the protagonists are the looks and avant-garde trends. Hair designers are taking place in the international calendar of the highest level, with the team of Class by Ernesto Spica, Rusk, Kemon with Mauro Galzignato and Cotril.

The absolute novelty is the 1st Cosmoprof Barber Show, organized in collaboration with the Camera Italiana dell’Acconciatura. A high-level jury will choose and bring on the Hair Ring stage, on Monday, March 21st, the four young barbers who will present the best proposals of a masculine look in hipster style.
