Food-lovers will adore the “La Carte Postale” restaurant, which serves cuisine inspired by local flavours, without neglecting diners who are watching their weight thanks to their De-Light menu, which features gourmet dishes that are light on calories and gluten-free. Round off your meal with a cocktail made using plants from the surrounding scrubland, such as the Capo Spritz inspired by Louis Napoleon Mattei, the inventor of the “Cap Corse” aperitif, which has been given a twist by Corsican mixologist Florie Castellana.
Thalassotherapy and wellness
The hotel boasts a 900m2 thalassotherapy centre, with alcoves cut into the marble, Birman teak and Murano mosaics. The 2016 signature programme, “Vital Energy”, promotes drainage and relaxation to release tension and recover your lost form and tonicity. If you wish, a therapist will accompany you for the duration of your stay, motivating you and providing you with a logbook to prolong the benefits of your treatments at home.
New additions include Crena Care Spa Cosmetics products, which utilise the island’s heritage such as immortelle flower, honey, asses’ milk, chestnut and clementine. Try the “Dolce Piacere”, with asses’ milk and honey to hydrate dry skin; “Farniente” with chestnut and hazelnut, a nourishing and mattifying treatment for oily skin; and “Stintu Corsu” with immortelle essential oil for an anti-aging action with a lifting, shaping and firming effect.
