Lose weight without going hungry!

This figure comes from a study by the INSERM (French National Institute of Health and Medical Research), published not long ago. I can tell you how to achieve these results by adopting my Chrono-Keto-Minceur (CKM) slimming method.

how to lose weight

First of all, you need to know my two secrets for adopting this method: you need to identify why you put on weight and how you can lose weight quickly from stubborn areas. Our excess carbohydrate (or sugar) consumption is at the heart of the problem, as it leads to insulin resistance. This is when the hormone insulin gradually becomes unable to use carbohydrates properly and absorb them into our cells. We all have our own “carbohydrate or sugar tolerance threshold” for life. Once we have exceeded this threshold, we develop an insulin resistance that leads to weight gain. This is the primary explanation as to why some people never put on weight and why others gain weight very quickly. It all comes down to a metabolic unfairness connected with this famous “carbohydrate tolerance threshold”. For some, it is inexhaustible (perfect tolerance) so they never gain weight, and for others it is very unfair and is so low (extremely low carbohydrate tolerance) that they gain weight very quickly.

Once you have understood this, you will only need to make small changes in order to transform your body into a machine for eliminating fatty tissue quickly, from stubborn areas, and without going hungry.

Here is how to apply my method, which is based around four specific cornerstones:

Cornerstone 1: Intermittent fasting at least 3 times a week. This involves eating two meals over the space of 8 hours, then fasting for 16 hours in every 24. It is your choice whether you skip breakfast or dinner.

Cornerstone 2: Make your insulin secretion CRASH, which leads to the next cornerstone.

Cornerstone 3: Reduce your carbohydrate (or sugar) intake to around 35 grams per day. This means banning starchy foods:

  • no bread, pasta, potatoes
  • no pastries, sweets
  • no fruit, or perhaps just a few berries
  • no starchy vegetables
  • no fruit juice (replace with fresh vegetable juice), sugary or alcoholic drinks

You will, however, need to increase your nutritional intake of good fats at every meal. This is unavoidable and fundamental.

Cornerstone 4: Follow a healthy diet and monitor when your body starts producing ketone bodies and going into ketosis using a Kétodiastix® urine test.

Finding ketone bodies in the urine means two things:

  • That your liver has used your fat stores to make a new fuel for your cells to replace sugar
  • That you have got rid of a maximum of carbohydrates from your body and will automatically lose weight.

After 3 to 4 days, when the body has used up its carbohydrate stores, it has no other choice than to trigger lipolysis, that is, to destroy the body’s adipose tissue. This generates free fatty acids, which the liver transforms into an energy source called ketone bodies. These replace sugar as our cells’ fuel, just like a car can run on petrol or diesel. Once you have brought about this metabolic condition, you have transformed your body into a machine for burning fat and eliminating excess weight.
