SHIFUMIE: Continuity of care for your patients

  • 14th October 2026
  • Thierry PIOLATTO

Discover a Korean dermocosmetic range featuring innovative active ingredients (PDRN, niacinamide) to enrich your practice’s treatment offering and optimise your patients’ post-treatment results.

Shifumie brings together several premium niche Korean skincare brands. Far removed from the brands found everywhere that offer little differentiation. Shifumie is already recommended in many aesthetic practices. Developed by dermatologists, Shifumie incorporates specifically Korean active ingredients (PDRN, exosomes, niacinamide) for at-home post-treatment protocols that significantly enhance treatments and care. Aesthetic physicians are constantly looking for solutions to optimise the results of their treatments and offer their patients effective at-home skincare protocols. Shifumie meets this demand with a dermocosmetic range featuring innovative active ingredients specifically developed for use after inpractice procedures.

INNOVATIVE KOREAN ACTIVE INGREDIENTS

This range incorporates specifically Korean ingredients, validated by 20 years of research in aesthetic dermatology:

b-PDRN (polydeoxyribonucleotide) represents a new generation of biotechnology-inspired active ingredients. Produced through a laboratory fermentation process using Saccharomyces-type yeasts, this third-generation PDRN stands out for an approach that is both innovative and more sustainable. It supports the natural mechanisms of skin renewal and procollagen production, which are essential for maintaining the skin’s suppleness, firmness and plump appearance. Propolis, rich in flavonoids (pinocembrin, chrysin, galangin), offers documented antioxidant, antiinflammatory, antimicrobial and healing properties. It reduces post-procedure erythema, accelerates reepithelialisation and minimises the risk of infection. Niacinamide (vitamin B3) at 2–5% improves barrier function, stimulates ceramide synthesis and reduces post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation. Adenosine, recognised by the KFDA as a validated anti-wrinkle active ingredient, improves microcirculation and reduces oedema post-injection. Exosomes, nanoscale extracellular vesicles, play a crucial role in intercellular communication and tissue regeneration. They transport proteins, lipids and messenger RNAs that stimulate fibroblast proliferation and collagen synthesis.

WHY OFFER SHIFUMIE TO YOUR PATIENTS?

Premium Korean skincare is increasingly sought after by patients looking for effective at-home care to prolong the benefits of in-practice treatments. Specifically Korean active ingredients offer unique mechanisms of action that complement aesthetic treatments.

CLINICAL INDICATIONS:

• Post-laser recovery (CO2, Erbium, IPL)

• Post-injection recovery (fillers, botulinum toxin, biostimulators)

• Post-peel recovery (TCA, phenol, enzymes)

• Post-aesthetic surgery care

• Treatment of photoaging, wrinkles and loss of firmness

• Correction of post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation

The formulas are hypoallergenic and dermatologically tested on sensitive skin. Developed according to Korean dermocosmetic standards, for post-treatment clinical efficacy. The multi-step Korean routine integrates perfectly into clinical protocols: gentle post-procedure cleansing, activating essence, targeted serum, occlusive cream and mandatory SPF 50+. This sequential approach maximises the bioavailability of the active ingredients and the results for your patients.

Offering Shifumie will ensure quality follow-up for your patients by helping to ensure the proper course of their post-procedure care. Choosing Shifumie means offering patients cutting-edge, forward-thinking cosmetology products.

Shifumie offers a complete range of premium Korean skincare for patients attending aesthetic medicine practices. A selection of brands developed by dermatologists, featuring innovative active ingredients (PDRN, exosomes, propolis) for validated post-treatment protocols.
